The Hawkeye series has entered its third episode, where the fights become more intense and many elements from the comics are introduced in the show. One of the most interesting things is that the various trick arrows that have never been seen before in Marvel Cinematic Universe. 10. The Dragon Reference from Shang-Chi

Who would have thought that this show would refer to a dragon? This thing comes from Echo’s father who embeds Dragon’s nature to his daughter, where Echo’s father said that Dragons are real but they’re on a different dimension. After watching Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings, Dragons are indeed real in a dimension where they cannot be accessed by normal people.

9. Introducing Kingpin Even Only Partial

The return of Kingpin is strengthened when visiting young Echo when she was practicing martial arts. Despite only partial (only his left hand), he may be Kingpin because he’s the leader of the Tracksuit Mafia. Judging from his hand, his hand is quite big and stocky, he may be Kingpin who is rumored to be the main villain in Hawkeye.

8. Fat Man Auto Repair

One of the easter eggs that are visible to see is where Echo goes to her father’s headquarter who is a member of the Tracksuit and finds the headquarter is attacked by Ronin. Uniquely, the headquarter is named “Fat Man Auto Repair” which is another nickname for Kingpin, which is Fat Man. This could be a confirmation that Kingpin would arrive in the show in the mid or towards the end of the series,

7. The Bloody Handprint on Echo's Face

When Echo’s father is killed by Ronin, it shows a sad and meaningful scene. The scene shows Echo’s father holding his bloody hand to his daughter’s face, leaving a bloody handprint on her cheek. In the comics, Echo has a white handprint that covers most of her face and becomes a feature that she is known for.

6. Kate Bishop Draws Hawkeye's Classic Costume

Kate Bishop has many talents, but not in the drawing. There is a scene where Kate Bishop is drawing Clint Barton a costume out of fun but resulting in a bad depiction. This drawing is a reference to Hawkeye’s classic comic book costume with a giant H on the helmet and a flashy design. Surely Clint rejects her idea.

5. Black Widow Killed Ronin?

A little big confession that Black Widow (Natasha Romanov) literally killed Ronin and returned Hawkeye. After the blip, Clint Barton went crazy and lost his identity because his family was disintegrated, until he reunited with Natasha and returned to become an Avenger. That thing makes Clint say that Black Widow had killed Ronin.

4. The 1970 Red Dodge Challenger

In the Hawkeye comic book on which the series is based, Clint Barton bought a Red Dodge Challenger and used the car to get away with Kate Bishop from the Tracksuit Mafia. In Hawkeye (2021), there is also the same car with the same design but it belongs to the Tracksuit and Clint refuses to drive it. Later, the car is destroyed both in the comics and the series.

3. Unique Trick Arrows from the Hawkeye Comic

How unique are Clint Barton’s arrows this time? Surely you haven’t seen Slime Arrow, Smoke Arrow, Trick Arrow, and Acid Arrow in Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Hawkeye series is full of surprises in this episode. Where all the normal arrows run out, and what’s left are the tricks arrows. Even there is Sucker Arrow in which the usage is still unknown.

2. Hank Pym's Modified Arrow

If we’re talking about arrowheads, there is an arrow with a one-of-a-kind arrowhead which is Hank Pym’s Modified Arrow. It’s very useful and effective, where Kate points her bow to the top and Clint shoots the arrow into a giant-sized arrow, and it hits Tracksuit’s car. The question is, why Clint didn’t use it when he fought Thanos? 

1. The Iconic USB Arrow

There is another iconic arrow which is USB Arrow that has made numerous appearances in a few movies and series, starting from The Avengers to Marvel What If when injected Arnim Zola virus to one of the Ultron Bots. This arrow is seen when Kate intimidates the Tracksuit with USB Arrow which is surprising doesn’t hurt a bit when shot at living targets.
