Since it was announced, Parakacuk has been attracting Indonesian gamers with the gameplay. Recently, Gamecom Team shares the new trailer for the 3D Beat’em up game the studio is working on.
Gamers who are curious about the game can finally see what Parakacuk is like. So now they can decide to put it on their Steam wishlist or not. But some gamers are still unsure or curious about the game.
In truth, the writer is still curious about the game. Because the game by Gamecom is different from other Indonesian games because of the unique concept that never exists before.
That’s why the writer interviewed the CEO of Gamecom Team Reza Febri Nanda to ask questions about Parakakacuk. You can read the interview below.
Dunia Games: Why is it named Parakacuk? Not to mention “kacuk” is a curse word in the local language.
Gamecom Team: there are two reasons for that, the first is because “Parakacuk” is the name of my high school gang hahaha, I was a gang member.
Secondly, in KBBI, the word “kacuk” means chaos, so “Parakacuk” means “Chaos Maker”, and it fits the theme that we are using in the game such as violence, riot, and chaos.
Dunia Games: What inspired Gamecom Team to develop Parakacuk?
Gamecom Team: the are two main inspirations behind Parakacuk. Firstly, we all know that there are many awesome games from Indonesia, but honestly, I only want to play a few of them. That’s why we make Parakacuk, a game that I and Gamecom Team want to play.
Secondly, we want to provide another perspective to older generations that always think that games are for kids. And we mentioned in the beginning that Parakacuk is a game for adults, not kids.
Dunia Games: What is the reason for Gamecom to make a high school-themed 3D Beat’em up game?
Gamecom Team: In my opinion, the most relevant theme that can be used to introduce violence in Indonesia is juvenile or high school delinquency. With this theme, we believe that people will “realize” that is a game for adults.
Those are some of the answers from Gamecom Team about Parakacauk. This is not the full interview, so you can catch the second part in the next article. Stay tuned for more information about games and don’t forget to follow Dunia Games on Facebook and Instagram.
