The Black Organizations (also known as Black Cloak Organization) is surely a feared organization in Detective Conan series, but this kind of all-black organization also exists in Naruto and Boruto’s world! They are evil and always look mysterious because they are cloaked with a long and dark outfit, and here are four black-cloaked organizations in Naruto and Boruto.

4. Root

The Anbu Force subdivision led by the late Danzo Shimura. Root was a secret subdivision created by Hiruzen’s friend, and they only bowed down to Danzo and tasked to take various missions that considered “dishonored” like killing targets who wanted to against Konohagakure’s interests.

After Danzo killed by Sasuke, Root later disbanded and its members are scattered; some of them are still loyal to Konoha (like Sai), and some of them are exiled.

3. Akatsuki

The famous black-cloaked organization in Naruto. At first, Akatsuki was formed by Amegakure orphans; Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato; as a way to bring peace to their hometown. Because the organization’s power got bigger, the Kage of Amegakure at that time, Hanzo, felt his reign threatened and cooperated with Danzo from Konohagakure to destroy them.

After Yahiko killed in action, Nagato and Konan continued their mission for peace; by destroying the world. Obito Uchiha later took over Akatsuki to announce The Fourth Shinobi World War to create peace using Infinite Tsukuyomi and placing illusions on everyone. 

2. Geng Byakuya

Also known as a White Night Gang, it was a band of ‘notorious thieves’ who stole rich people’s goods and gave the stolen goods to the poor. After Gekkou killed the real leader - Ryougi’s father - he and his fellows used Byakuya, who already seen as a good organization among the people, to launch criminal acts and enrich themselves secretly.

1. Kara

The last is the latest black-cloaked organization to appear in the series, as well as serving as the main antagonist in Boruto. So far, Kara's plan is still a mystery, only that Kara is suspected of researching a seal that received by someone who once defeated the Otsusuki Clan member.

Kara is divided into two: Inners, that consists of the six leaders; and Outers that consists of secret agents and they are tasked to infiltrate regions, stealing information, and killing those who interfere with their plan.
