Jakarta, June 9, 2024 - Director Ernest Prakasa and gamer Reza Arap Oktovian attended the Grand Final of MPL ID Season 13 to witness the exciting match between EVOS Glory and Fnatic ONIC. Ernest expressed his amazement at the grandeur of the MPL ID S13 stage held at the Jakarta International Velodrome. Meanwhile, Arap felt that this year's crowd was more lively compared to the last time he attended an esports tournament.

When asked about his reaction to attending MPL ID for the first time, Ernest Prakasa shared his admiration. "This is my first time watching esports live, off-air like this. I've watched streaming before, but I didn't expect the atmosphere to be this vibrant. I mean, it's like watching a football match, with fans and hooligans in the stands. It's exciting," said Ernest.

Ernest concluded that the esports community is on par with physical sports. "Esports is not a physical sport, but its supporters are no less enthusiastic than those of other offline sports," stated Ernest.

Ernest also commented a bit on the grandeur of the MPL ID S13 playoff stage. "If you use tokens, it would be costly to pay for the electricity," joked Ernest.

Next to Ernest, Reza Arap also shared his feelings about returning to the esports world after a long time. "The last time I attended an esports event was when my team played PUBG, around 2018-2019," revealed Reza Arap.

"I see the crowd (in esports now) is crazier than before," continued Arap.
