The release of an event with a new theme in Pokemon GO has made Pokemon GO Trainers curious. This event is called Hatch Day, where certain Pokemon will spawn more from eggs and it's easier to get their rare shiny form.

The first time this will be held in the game Pokemon GO with the chosen pokemon: Riolu! Riolu is one of the most targeted for his shiny form because apart from that he is a very popular Pokemon and his shiny form is one of the rare ones to date.

From the first time it was released, Shiny Riolu has become the target of Trainers because it is difficult to get this pokemon. That was because he could only be obtained from eggs that hatched by walking for many kilometers.

Riolu is one of the baby pokemons that you get from pokemon eggs, doesn't appear in the wild. Previously, Riolu was only in the 7km egg which could be obtained from opening gifts from friends. However, now at certain events, he can hatch from another egg.

Specifically for this Hatch Day event, Riolu will spawn more from 2km eggs, to make it easier for Pokemon Go trainers to hatch their eggs quickly.

The first Hatch Day event will be held on Saturday 22 July 2023 at 14:00-17:00. The appearance of the very rare yellow Shiny Riolu will be facilitated during the event.

Apart from being cool and popular, Riolu has evolutionary changes that are no less cool and popular too. He is Lucario the Aura Pokemon. Lucario is also very strong and is one of the best Attackers of the Fighting type with his Aura Sphere style.

You must have Lucario with a high IV so you can Power Up and get maximum strength. If you have Shiny Lucario Form with high IV, then when Mega Lucario is released, you can directly Mega Evolve yours without the need to look for good seeds anymore.

At this Hatch Day event, there is a bonus of 2x the stardust from hatching eggs, so if you have one, use Starpieces. If you need additional incubators to hatch Pokemon eggs, you can also get them from timed quests during events.

Remember that before this event starts, it's best to empty the pokemon egg slots so they can accommodate lots of eggs during the event.
