The battle in the FFWS SEA 2026 Spring competition is not over yet. The Knockout Stage just concluded on Sunday, May 17, 2026, with the final six teams securing their tickets to the Grand Finals, which will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on May 30-31, 2026. The battles in the Knockout Phase 2 of the FFWS SEA 2026 Spring were quite exciting and thrilling. The relentless action displayed by the teams demonstrated their determination and commitment to "Unleash the Fire."
Ultimately, Indonesia only sent three teams from the Knockout Phase 2 of the FFWS SEA 2026 Spring. In Knockout Phase 1, Bigetron by Vitality and RRQ Kazu advanced to the Grand Finals. Finally, EVOS Divine followed suit from Knockout Phase 2, while ONIC failed to advance to the Grand Finals but remained in the fold for the following Fall FFWS SEA season. Shadow Esports, the champions of FFNS 2026 Spring, were sadly eliminated and relegated to the National level.
EVOS Divine Faces Penalty in FFWS SEA 2026 Spring Due to Bug Exploitation
Although EVOS Divine advanced to the Grand Finals as the final team representing Indonesia in the FFWS SEA 2026 Spring Grand Final, sadly, Rasyah and his teammates received some bad news after the Knockout Phase concluded. Garena, collectively, discovered a violation committed by EVOS Divine related to a bug exploitation. This was discovered during a match in Knockout Phase 2, Day 3, on Sunday, May 17, 2026, on the Purgatory map (Game 1). EVOS was found to have exploited a bug.
Therefore, Garena released an official statement regarding this matter to the public, stating that as an administrative sanction, EVOS Divine's total prize pool would be reduced by 25%. "In game 1 of Purgatory, day 3 of week four of the Knockout stage, EVOS Divine was found to have exploited an in-game bug involving the placement of a gloo wall through a wall without direct line of sight. This action resulted in the team safely reviving a player, which should have been impossible,"
"After review by the tournament administration and in accordance with the official tournament rulebook, this action was determined to be a violation of the integrity of the competition and fair play regulations. Therefore, the following penalty will be imposed on EVOS Divine: A 25% deduction from the team's total prize pool. The tournament administration would like to remind all teams and participants that exploiting bugs or game mechanics outlined in the rulebook is strictly prohibited. This announcement is made to inform all teams, participants, and spectators," Garena wrote.
This sanction was indeed considered quite severe and drew mixed reactions from the Indonesian Free Fire community. Nevertheless, the rules remain the rules and must be followed and complied with by all participating teams. For your information, EVOS has not yet issued any response regarding the sanctions imposed by Garena Free Fire Esports. Please continue to support EVOS in FFWS SEA 2026 Spring, Survivors.
