The bug issue that hampered EVOS Divine in the FFWS SEA 2026 Spring tournament some time ago was quite surprising. First, it was surprising that EVOS Divine committed a technical violation (bug). Second, due to Garena's sanctions against EVOS, their total prize pool was reduced by 25%, which could be considered a significant impact. Nevertheless, EVOS Divine was still allowed to compete in the FFWS SEA 2026 Spring Grand Final in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Regarding the bug issue that occurred in the FFWS SEA 2026 Spring tournament involving EVOS Divine, there was much controversy within the Indonesian Free Fire community. Ultimately, however, EVOS Divine's coaches and players chose to focus on competing in the FFWS SEA 2026 Spring Grand Final. How did Wahyu "Leem" Kurniawan, EVOS Divine's coach, strengthen the team's morale ahead of the Grand Final? Read on for a full explanation below.

Leem Responds to EVOS Divine Bug Issue at FFWS SEA 2026 Spring, Reveals How to Strengthen Team Morale!

As previously announced by Garena Free Fire, EVOS Divine was sanctioned for allegedly exploiting a bug in a recent match. As a sanction, the EVOS team was subject to a 25% reduction in the total prize pool at the end of the competition. Leem, EVOS Divine's coach, told Dunia Games (DG) that EVOS Divine disagreed with this decision. However, respecting Garena's decision, EVOS chose to be magnanimous and agree. However, Leem expressed his disappointment with the sanction.

"If (we) disagree, that's Garena's decision. We want to (state) our disagreement, but the decision has already been made, so we have no choice but to agree," Leem said in response to Dunia Games' (DG) question. "But we are a little disappointed with Garena's decision because the bug has been around for a long time, and we are the first team to be affected," he said. Leem added that, after further investigation, it turned out that someone was behind the decision, "reporting" the issue in the hope of having points deducted from EVOS.

However, in the end, there was no point deduction, and instead, the total prize pool was reduced. "Yes, that's for sure (reported by the opposing team). (Perhaps) they wanted to qualify as well and reported us so they would receive a point deduction, but that's what the prize pool was," Leem added. Finally, Leem stated that for the Grand Final, EVOS Divine remains focused on the FFWS SEA 2026 Spring, and all players, coaches, and staff are focused on winning together and losing together.

"We accept Garena's decision. And after that, we (think) about winning together and losing together, so we don't have to worry too much," he concluded. It will be interesting to hear Coach Leem's response as EVOS Divine prepares for the FFWS SEA 2026 Spring Grand Final. Don't miss their performance in the Grand Final, Survivors, EVOS Fams, and hopefully, EVOS can achieve the best results this season.
