Paper Rex (PRX) Monyet responded casually, netizens who said he could not replace Jinggg.

For the Valorant 2024 competitive scene, Paper Rex has introduced one new player to its roster, namely Monyet. He is here to replace the position left by Jinggg.

Even so, it seems that netizens are still not satisfied with the performance of the player from Indonesia at the VCT Pacific Kickoff 2024. Netizens said that he still couldn't replace Jinggg's position in Paper Rex.

Exclusively to Dunia Games, the player with the real name Cahya, gave his response regarding netizens who said he could not replace Jinggg's position in Paper Rex.

"Yes, right now, I can only admit it. What else can I say, right? Because my current performance shows that I can't replace Jinggg yet. But, fortunately, my teammates still believe in me, always support me, even coach Alecks also (gives support)," he said.

He also added that he used this tournament as a slap to keep trying hard.

"Yes, I made this tournament (VCT Pacific Kickoff 2024) like a wake-up call for myself, to try hard again in the future," he continued.

On the same occasion, he also admitted that he lost confidence when facing Gen.G in the Final round of VCT Pacific Kickoff 2024. That was the difficulty he had when competing in the Final round.

"Personally, it's more like losing confidence. Because there are things that don't work out , both as a team and personally. So, I lose confidence," he added.

For your information, Monyet and Paper Rex had to settle for being in second place at the VCT Pacific Kickoff 2024 yesterday after losing to Gen.G. Even so, they together with Gen.G will advance to the VCT Masters Madrid in March 2024.
