Here's the story of Khezcute who decided to move from Dota 2 to the competitive Mobile Legends (MLBB) scene and joined Bigetron Alpha.

The presence of a man whose real name is Alfi Syahrin Nelphyana in the Indonesian MLBB competitive scene is quite surprising. The reason is, he was previously known to be close to Dota 2. But now, he has changed direction by becoming a coach in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang scene.

1. His Reason of Moving from Dota 2 to the Mobile Legends Competitive Scene

When met by Dunia Games exclusively at Bigetron Con 2024, last Friday (2/2) at Lippo Mall Kemang, South Jakarta, this former Dota 2 player revealed his reasons for moving to the competitive Mobile Legends scene.

The reason turned out to be quite simple he wanted to use his abilities again in the game.

"I left Dota 2, then came here (MLBB), quite a long time. There was probably a hiatus of a year, more than a year and a half. So why did I come here (MLBB)? I was bored, I wanted to use my brain again in games. It turns out there was an offer at that time from the Pajajaran team, so I took that opportunity. Somehow, it has continued until now," he said.

2. Decided to Dive Into the MLBB Scene as a Coach Rather than Being a Player

On the same occasion, this man who was born in 1993 also revealed that he preferred to be a coach rather than a player when he entered the world of Mobile Legends. He admitted that he no longer wanted to be a player.

"It's certain if I became a player, I don't want to anymore. As I get older, I think the most possible thing with my current condition is to become a coach. As for a player, I've felt that way for a long time, and I don't know what I want to achieve anymore. So yeah, I just don't want to," he answered.

3. Khezcute Revealed His Reason Why He Accepted Bigetron Alpha's Offer

Previously, it was mentioned that he had coached Pajajaran Esports' MLBB team. His team even managed to win the National Esports League 1 at the end of December 2023.

These results made him look at many teams. One of them is Bigetron Alpha. He also revealed the reason he wanted to accept the Red Robot Team's offer.

"First, I asked about the roster. Coincidentally, I also compared it with other teams that contacted me. Coincidentally, in my opinion, it seems that potentially, this roster (BTR Alpha) is more suitable for me, where, I'm also new here, keep playing the competition here is also a mix, of experienced and newcomers, also new, have never won, so I can rebuild more easily," he explained at length.

On that occasion, the coach also had time to share a little about the team that had previously made an offer to him. He said that at least three or four local teams had made offers to him.

"Maybe three to four, from local (teams) only," he said again.

4. His Responds to the MPL Indonesia Season 13

The 13th season will be his first debut on the MPL Indonesia stage. This is also the first time he has filled the position of Head Coach for a team participating in MPL Indonesia.

He also gave his response regarding the upcoming MPL Indonesia Season 13. According to him, the upcoming 13th season will be exciting.

"It's really exciting, in my opinion. Then, why are all the teams suddenly so talkative that they are upgrading like crazy, in terms of coaches, maybe facilities, in terms of players, now many (players) are imported. It turns out that, MSC is now getting better. That's crazy, and the motivation is getting worse too. That's what it is. This season, all players will do their best, like do or die," he answered.

5. Khezcute Said His Target for Bigetron Alpha

Even though he will only be involved on the MPL Indonesia stage in the upcoming 13th season, the former Dota 2 player said that his targets for Bigetron Alpha are not ambitious. The target in question is top 2, or at least getting a ticket to MSC 2024.

"The target, yes, it's not grandiose actually, the target has to be better than last season. In the last season, they (Bigetron Alpha) were unlucky in one game. Maybe there, I can fix the problem why, and share it with them, after "sharing, yes I know what they need. (Target for Bigetron Alpha) top 2, I think it's quite good (secure ticket to MSC)," he concluded.
