Since the beginning of the third Wano arc, or also known as Oden Piece, One Piece anime always have new eyecatchers in each episode. Eyecatchers are cutscenes that always show before the anime switched to commercials when aired on Fuji TV. From the beginning of the Wano arc until the end of the Wano arc part two, the eyecatchers shown are either Luffy or Zoro.

Based on Sanji’s voice actor who got bored with the same characters all over again, finally, Toei Animation decided to change it. Last week, the eye catchers shown were Shirohige with Oden as well as Luffy. The first eyecatcher depicted Shirohige along with Luffy during the Marineford war, while the second one was Shirohige with Oden.

In One Piece episode 964, the eyecatchers shown are Luffy and Oden’s first adventure. Luffy first sailed with a small boat before meeting Usopp and got Going Merry, while Oden first sailed with Shirohige’s ship called Moby Dick.
