Fairy Tail author Hiro Mashima is rumored to be making a game. Mashima was a guest star of a YouTube channel, Kodansha's Creator Lab which discusses manga authors who develop games. Mashima appeared on this channel for 3 seasons. Let's see what Hiro Mashima did during these 3 seasons!

In the first season, Mashima learned about 3D environments and levels using game engines. Then in the second season, he started learning how to create 3D characters using Blender software. In the first episode of the third season, Mashima started to finish the game he made. You can see it in the video below!

Hiro Mashima had mentioned that he had a hobby of developing video games. He started developing an Edens Zero game using RPG Maker in December 2021 called Rebecca to Kikai no Yōkan. The game was released for free for PC on March 16th 2022.

Hiro Mashima is the author of several popular titles such as Rave Master, Fairy Tail, Edens Zero, and the recently published Dead Rock. With his skills, he also worked on the character design of the Project Magia game that was announced at Marvelous Game Showcase 2023 yesterday.
