1. A Supernaturally Gifted Little Girl
In the pilot episode of Spy x Family, we’ve been introduced to Anya, who possesses the ability to read others’ minds. We learned this when Loid was about to adopt Anya. He tried to pick a child who could help him in his mission, and Anya surprised him by completing a crossword puzzle. She did that by reading Loid’s mind, convincing him to adopt Anya as his daughter.
2. She Was a Test Subject
Anya’s mind-reading power wasn’t something innate. It’s actually a result of an experiment in which she’s the subject in a laboratory. She’s actually a test subject under the code name '007'.
3. She’d Been Adopted Before
Before meeting Loid, Anya had been adopted three times. However, her prior adoptive parents returned her after learning about her supernatural power. That’s why she doesn’t want Loid to find out about her power as she’s afraid she’ll end up back in the orphanage or abandoned.
4. She Loves Peanuts

Due to her telepathic ability, Anya gets weak and can even pass out whenever she’s in a large crowd. This can be seen in Episode 3 of Spy x Family when Loid, Yor, and Anya go out for a walk. Anya would start feeling dizzy as her brain gets over-encumbered by the amount of info going to her mind at the same time.
7. Doesn’t Like Studying
It’s not like she’s not capable of learning new things, but studying reminds her of the dark days she spent in the laboratory. The researchers at the facility never let Anya play, and they would always force her to study. That’s why now Anya doesn’t like studying.
8. She Cries When Talking About Her Mother
