7. Origins

Robert DuBois is a Vietnam draft evader, who fled to Canada to avoid getting sent to the war. However, his younger brother, Bobby, was sent to Vietnam, which resulted in him losing both of his limbs. Because of this, Robert developed a strong hatred towards the government as he started to fall down into the dark side.

6. Enemy of Superman

Debuted in Superman Vol. 2 in April 1987, Bloodsport is a criminal who’s obsessed with killing Superman. He’s an expert in marksmanship and close combat. Bloodsport once forged bullets from kryptonite, which is the perfect material to kill Superman. However, Superman manages to survive and is sent to the ICU. From a sheathed weapon that he can ‘conjure’ from his hand to Kryptonite bullets, which he used to put Superman in hospital. Idris Elba got a role that suits him better than being a replacement for Will Smith as Deadshot. In the comics, Bloodsport once came up against Deadshot on one occasion. To top it off, Bloodsport also wields an automatic multiple-barrels weapon.

One of Bloodsport’s weaknesses that can be exploited by his enemies is his family. In the latest trailer for The Suicide Squad, Robert DuBois has a weak spot, which is his daughter, Tyla DuBois, and is willing to take part in a suicide mission for her.
