Since he was born into a prominent family, Damian expects to be treated like a prince. He enjoys being respected, therefore, he has two loyal friends who are also his followers, namely Emile Elman and Ewen Egeburg. These two have great respect for Damian due to his family status. One of the funniest interactions in Spy x Family is when Anya meets Damian. Damian seems to always get annoyed and irritated by Anya since the first time they met, while Anya always tries to approach Damian for Operation Strix. At the beginning of the meeting in episode 6 of Spy x Family, Damian is already annoyed with Anya because of the smile that Anya gives, even though it ends up with Damian getting punched by Anya. It is a little doubtful that Anya actually remembers Damian Desmond's real name. Because Anya keeps referring to Damian with a nickname "Jinan", which means "second son" in Japanese. It is possibly because she is used to reading Loid's mind, and he keeps mentioning Donovan Desmond's family tree.

10. Made His Debut in Chapter Eight of the Manga

Damian had not been introduced straight away at the beginning of the first episode of Spy x Family. As a support character, he made his debut in chapter eight of the Spy x Family manga and episode 6 of the Spy x Family anime series, during Eden Academy's first year admission event. His debut appearance was the initial incident of Anya and Damian's quarrel, which made the two of them continue to be enemies.

11. He Once Protected Anya

Despite always trying to hide his feelings in front of Anya, sometimes Damian can't seem to do that. Even though he looks indifferent, Damian actually cares about Anya, this can be seen in episode 11 of Spy x Family when Anya first received her Stella, her classmates accuse her of cheating. Damian immediately denies this accusation with the intention of defending Anya, even though he doesn't want to admit it. Although Damian is a boy, it turns out that Damian is voiced by a woman. The seiyuu is Natsumi Fujiwara, who is also known for her works in numerous anime series, such as the voice of Tooru Mutsuki of the anime Tokyo Ghoul:re, Atsushi of the anime Aharen-san wa Hakarenai, among many other.
