One Punch Man manga chapter 167 tells the story of Saitama's fight against Garou. Previously, the number one hero in the hero association, Blast, had intervened to confront Garou. However, Garou managed to escape from Blast's moves.

1. An Ex-Disciple of Silver Fang

Before becoming a human with deadly monster instincts, Garou was a student of the S-class hero, Silver Fang aka Bang. Like Silver Fang, Garou studied martial arts at his dojo. However, Garou was still not satisfied with his strength, then went on an adventure to seek greater power.

In his adventures, Garou defeated the heroes he met. Any heroes whom he encountered would be sent to the hospital by himself. That's why Garou is called a hero hunter to  this today, at a time when heroes like Saitama are busy being discount hunters.

Garou finds himself becoming very strong after turning into a monster, even Garou had time to eat monsters by being able to increase his strength. However, Silver Fang as his teacher felt responsible to restore Garou to how he was before, before getting obsessed with greater power.

2. Garou's Aura Can Make Heroes Hopeless

Garou once made an S-class hero, Superalloy Darkshine, lost his confidence. After being knocked down by Garou, Darkshine felt that his muscles were useless. Moreover, Garou was able to face Darkshine while he was still unconscious. An insult to an honorable S-rank hero!

In One Punch Man manga chapter 166, Garou has entered a terrible transformation. Garou becomes the figure who makes all the heroes into the state of despair. 4. Garou Can Imitate Other Heroes's Techniques, Including Saitama

When facing Garou, Blast had time to open a portal to throw Garou into another dimension. However, the number one hero's efforts were still to no avail. By imitating the power of Blast, Garou created another portal and was able to return to Blast right before his eyes.

Blast as the number one hero alone was overwhelmed by Garou, then what about Saitama? As the main character, Saitama can beat Garou, but not that fast, because Garou can imitate the moves of heroes, including Saitama.

5. Garou is Still Undefeated by the One Punch Move
