Jessica Jones had a real name as Jessica Campbell because she was part of the Campbell family, and the last name was changed because after being an orphan, Jessica was adopted by the Jones family, making Jessica's name change to Jessica Jones.
6. Jewel is Her Nickname as a Superhero
The Jessica Jones series that exists and airs on Netflix is different than her stories in the comic books. In the comics, before Jessica started her career as a private detective, Jessica first worked as a female superhero, and she nicknamed her superhero identity as Jewel which is certainly very different from her original appearance as Jessica Jones.
