One of the examples is when Ayanokouji admits that he gets 50 on a test is a mere coincidence. As a matter of fact, he can easily get 100 but he simply chose not to.

3. Well-Built

In one of the scenes in Classroom of the Elite, Suzune Horikita learns that Ayanokouji has a well-built physique, and she asks whether he works out or not. However, Ayanokouji denies it and says he never works out.

Although he never reveals anything about himself, the reason for his physique is likely to be the extensive training he went through as a child in the White Room.

4. Ayanokouji’s Past

Many things have been slowly revealed about his mysterious self, such as his introverted nature, intelligence, and even physical abilities. However, one thing is still very much a mystery about Kiyotaka Ayanokouji: his past.

In a flashback, Ayanokouji was a little kid in an organization called the White Room, with his father as the leader, which experiments on children.

He went through rigorous training, and due to his traumatic past, Ayanokouji has grown an evil side that sees humans as means for him to get what he wants.

5. He Plays the Piano

It was revealed in Episode 2 when he stopped Horikita’s brother from attacking him. Ayanokouji was able to dodge most of Manabu Horikita’s attacks.

When he asks what Ayanokouji’s abilities are, he reveals that he used to play the piano and did calligraphy.

Ayanokouji is terrible at pretending to be an average student. There are many aspects that show Ayanokouji is a genius — such as when he always gets 50 in numerous subjects.

7. Has a Complicated Relationship with Suzune (in the Light Novel)

In the light novel, Suzune has a complicated relationship with Ayanokouji as there are numerous conflicts involving them. However, the anime slightly altered their relationship to make them a bit stable.

Ayanokouji and Suzune look like a romantic couple in the anime.

8. Hates Being the Center of Attention

Ayanokouji really doesn’t like being the center of attention. One of the instances is when he buys the answers to the old test, he asks Kikyo to take the credit even though he has spent money to get the answers.

Then, Ayanokouji also gave full credit to Suzune for stopping Ken after failing the test although it was actually his plan. 

9. He Knows Martial Arts

During his encounter with Manabu, there are so many things revealed about Ayanokouji. Ayanokouji was able to dodge Manabu’s attacks during the fight and manage to parry one of his punches, forcing Manabu to retreat. 

He even received praise from Manabu, indicating that Ayanokouji might know martial arts.

10. One of the Most Popular Male Anime Characters

In the “Takarajimasha Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi” guide book, Ayanokouji ranks 10th in the category of the most popular male anime characters in 2018. In 2019, Ayanokouji ranks 4th.
