As the Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to enter its fourth phase, there are going to be many new faces in both the hero and villain sides within the universe that are just as powerful as the ones from the previous phases.

7. Kro’s Origin

Kro is from the Deviants race that the Celestials created along with the Eternals, although the main difference between the Eternals and Deviants is that the latter are more of a failed product.

With that in mind, the Deviants aim to rule over the Earth unlike the Eternals who wish to protect it, and Kro himself was born in Lemuria and is a very revered war commander for the Deviants army.

6. The Deviants’ Leader

Living for over 20 thousand years and still counting, Kro has been the leader of the Deviants his whole life and leading the fights against the Eternals throughout generations, even personally instigating war among humans at one point.

One particular action Kro has done in the Marvel comic is transforming into Rudolph Hendler, a fictional Adolf Hitler who utilizes his dictatorship to cause a world war in Europe.

5. Kro’s Difference Between the Comic and MCU

Marvel Cinematic Universe is known for making numerous changes with the characters depicted in the movie compared to their comic counterparts, including Kro whose pink complexion and robe attire are changed into a figure with green, gold and purple complexion without any attire.

Upon closer look, Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Kro looks more like a symbiote unlike his original form from the comic. Also, it’s still a mystery regarding the person playing as him for the upcoming movie.

4. Kro’s Powers

While Kro has similar powers to the Eternals like immortality, regeneration, physical strength and great amount of stamina, he also has an additional ability to transform into anything like the Skrulls.

Kro’s particular ability to manipulate his form is the biggest concern since he can easily stir up a conflict among the Eternals, just like the other conflict he caused as previously mentioned above.

Kro is equipped with a number of armaments that serve to enhance his powers including a special pair of glasses with night vision that enables him to look around in a pitch-black environment up to an ultraviolet distance, along with flame guns, vibro whips and shroud guns which he frequently uses to beat his opponents.

The Eternals teaser showcases a fast-moving dark creature like a symbiote which looks like Kro, especially considering Kro’s action figure on the market has a very similar design to that creature.

Of course, Kor is not the only villain to appear in Eternals considering there are going to be a lot of superheroes featured in the movie, hence the villains have to even up the number.

1. Kro Once Had Relationship With Thena

Kro is rumored to have had a relationship with one of the Eternals’ characters, Thena who’s portrayed by Angelina Jolie, and they both had two children from this relationship.

However, Kro’s evil nature didn’t fit well with Thena’s good nature, thus the relationship died out and it shows that both races aren’t meant to bond with each other or even have an offspring.
