Since Sony released the premiere trailer for the Uncharted film, many fans have been looking forward to the screening time of this film. The film adapted from the Playstation game of the same title involves a number of well-known actors and actresses, one of which is Tom Holland who plays Nathan Drake.

Later Tom Holland will be a treasure hunter who is the central character of this film. He was accompanied by Mark Wahlberg as Victor "Sully" Sullivan. The Uncharted film, featuring Tom Holland, tells the story of Nathan Drake's youth.

1. Nolan North Visits the Filming Location

Since Sony obtained the licensing rights to the Uncharted series in 2008, only one year after the release of the first game, the development of the Uncharted film has been reported many times. There have been seven names of directors appointed to work on the project, one of which is Ruben Fleischer who is currently handling the Uncharted film project.

Several other directors include; Shawn Levy, Dan Trachtenberg, and David O'Russel. O'Russel is the first director officially appointed to handle the Uncharted film project. He even had some ideas and a number of suitable cast names for the film.

4. Filming Time was Disrupted Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic

Before it was finally released in 2022, the Uncharted film had several times been delayed. In fact, the film was delayed by more than a decade due to a long development process. The reason Uncharted was not released  immediately was not only due to development issues, but several other factors strong enough to delay the postponement of the film, one of which was the Covid-19 pandemic.

Initially, Uncharted was scheduled for release in March 2021. But the COVID-19 virus pandemic delayed production further. Uncharted was filmed in Berlin on March 16, 2020, but had to be stopped due to the pandemic. In July 2020, Sony was able to shoot again in Germany with strict health protocols in place. Until finally the production for Uncharted is completed and is ready to be displayed on February 18, 2022.

5. Will Follow the Original Story of the Game Version

The interesting thing about Uncharted is the storyline that will follow the original story of the game. Uncharted tells the story of Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) who is recruited by treasure hunter Sully to return the treasures collected by Ferdinand Magellan.

The treasure is known to have been lost for 500 years in the House of Moncada. The journey that was originally simple, turned out to have brought the two main characters of Uncharted into a journey around the world. Moreover, the two of them face Santiago Moncada (Antonio Banderas) who feels that he and his family are the rightful heirs of the property.

To that end, Nathan and Sully work together to solve one of the world's oldest mysteries. Not only treasures, in this quest, they might also find Nathan Drake's long-lost brother.

6. Many Difficult Stunts Performed by Tom Holland

Compared to the series of films that have starred Tom Holland, Uncharted is a film that he considers very challenging compared to Spider-Man. Uncharted involves more extreme stunts that are very dangerous.
