Might Guy, or usually known as Guy-Sensei, and often called Bushy Brows Sensei by Naruto, becomes a character with a plot twist at the end of the Naruto Shippuden. Although his specialty is Taijutsu, his technique cannot be underestimated, especially with his Gate techniques. It turns out that Might Guy or Guy-Sensei has some surprising facts that you may not realize.
In this article, Dunia Games will talk about some of Might Guy's surprising facts that you may not have known. Let's dig in!
1. The Strongest Taijutsu User in the Shinobi World
There is no need to doubt this fact. Might Guy or Guy-Sensei is a Konoha (Hidden Leaf) ninja who is famous for having the strongest Taijutsu technique in the Shinobi world. Although he can't do any Ninjutsu, Guy has many powerful Taijutsu techniques such as Asa Kujaku (Peacock in the Morning), Hirudora (Daytime Tiger), and one of them is a very powerful and risky technique, the Eight Gates technique which can destroy any object in front of it upon contact.
2. His Mother is Unknown Until Now
Since childhood, Might Guy was only taken care of by his own biological father named Dai, or Duy. They both lived in a small and isolated place. Since childhood, Guy is only shown always with his father, and his mother is never mentioned or shown in both the manga and anime until now. There is a theory that Guy's mother died upon giving birth to Guy, or it could be she ran away or other reasons that could be true.
the slightest figure of his mother is never seen or known, and so on. Some opinions may be Guy's mother died after giving birth to Guy, or it could be that his mother ran away, and other reasons that could be true.
3. He Always Has the Will of Fire Since Childhood
Guy's father always taught Guy to live like an optimistic individual, and with that, Guy continues to learn to be a person who never gives up and continues to be enthusiastic and always positive in his life. Even though he failed many times, Guy still tried to get up and continued not to give up, it was all because he had the Will of Fire since childhood and it stays until he grew up.
4. Always Wins Against Kisame
Kisame, one of the Akatsuki members, had a little grudge against Guy. It was all because Guy had kicked him when he and Itachi infiltrated the Konoha village. Kisame and Guy had fought several times, but the result always ended up in Guy winning. Like Kisame and Guy's fight on their way to Akatsuki's headquarters, until Kisame hides inside Samehada in the end.
5. Kakashi Hatake is His Best Friend and Rival
Maybe Kakashi Hatake looks ignorant and never thinks Guy as his rival, but Kakashi is always enthusiastic to join a duel or compete with Guy to show who is the best. The rivalry between Guy and Kakashi has been going on since childhood, which is where Guy really wants to surpass Kakashi because Kakashi was a popular ninja who had a famous father too.
6. Rarely Seen Gloomy or Sad
From childhood until he grew up, Guy remains a positive person and it never changes. Guy remains enthusiastic and always thinks positively. Not only that, but Guy always lives with confidence where he rarely shows to be sad or depressed when something doesn't go according to his expectations. Guy is also included as the silliest character in Naruto and likes to act like a comical relief that might exceed Naruto.
7. Guy Loves to Train
Because he's a Ninja who can't do any Ninjutsu, Guy must try hard to strengthen his physique to be stronger and tougher than ordinary people. It's all done because Taijutsu is a technique that is directly related to the human body, or physical. That's why Guy is always consistently doing intense training, even physical exercise has become his own hobby.
8. The Only Ninja to Make Madara in Rikudou Form Overwhelmed
It's true that Hashirama had bested Madara several times, but it's not the strongest version of the latter. Madara back then is not comparable to the Madara that Guy had fought. When Madara became Juubi Jinchuuriki, he was immersively very strong and could even be equal to Rikudo Sennin mode, therefore, no one could defeat Madara other than Guy with his Eight Gates Released technique. The technique itself is so dangerous because it can make the user die.

9. Guy Was Unable to Fight Pain
It's possible that if Naruto lost or didn't show up to Konoha when the Konoha village was destroyed by Pain, Pain might meet Guy and his team. If this fight happened, Pain would be likely defeated by Guy because Guy was able to overwhelm Madara's Rikudo form. As we all know, Pain's strength is nothing compared to Madar Uchiha.
10. Guy's Missions are Not Much as Kakashi's
In addition to always excelling in terms of friendly matches against Guy, Kakashi also turns out to be superior in terms of the missions that have been carried out the most. According to the Naruto Databook, Guy has completed 788 missions in total, consisting of 86 D-rank missions, 270 C-rank missions, 210 B-rank missions, 199 A-rank missions, and 23 S-rank missions. Meanwhile, Kakashi has completed 1,141 missions in total, consisting of 197 D rank missions, 190 C rank missions, 414 B rank missions, 298 A-rank missions, and 42 S-rank missions.
11. Guy Cannot Remember a Person's Name
In addition to having the weakness of not being able to do Ninjutsu, Guy also has another weakness. It is known that Guy has difficulty remembering people's names. It is not because he's old but indeed Guy is not very reliable in terms of memory. The opponents whose names he forgot were Kisame and Madara, despite both of them being powerful enemies.
12. Even With One Leg, Guy Still Excels in Taijutsu
His fight with Madara made Guy so tormented. It's because, at the end of the fight, Guy's right leg was broken, and he cannot stand with two legs anymore. Interestingly, in the Boruto era, Guy was still able to fight formidably using his Taijutsu even though he only has one leg.
13. Has the "Size" of a Walnut
What's the size of a walnut? That size is the size of Guy's "man things", which is one of Guy's embarrassing secrets. Guy once showed "his things" that looked like a walnut, and only Kakashi knew the secret. After growing up, Guy admits that the size is no longer like walnut but has grown to be bigger.
14. Rock Lee is His Favorite Student
Guy is Neji, Tenten, and Lee's teacher, but Guy seems to only see Lee as his favorite student. It is reasonable because Lee is a student who admires Guy and even obeyed all orders from Guy. Besides being a favorite student, Guy also believes that Lee is like a new leaf that will replace Guy who becomes an old leaf waiting for the fall.
15. Guy is Still Single
In the Boruto era, it turns out that Guy is still unmarried and single, but not only Guy, turns out that all teachers like Kakashi, Ebisu, Yamato, also seem to have no partner. It feels a bit strange since many of their students are married and have children. Only Kurenai and the late Asuma are the only teachers who are married and have a kid.
