Anime & Manga | 15 May
While fighting in Dressrosa, Fujitora had a Devil Fruit ability that hasn’t been explained. But it’s been revealed now in Vivre Card Set 2. Do you wanna know the name of Fujitora’s Devil Fruit? Let’s get straight into the discussion below!
Previously, many fans have thought that Fujitora’s Devil Fruit ability is similar to Shiki’s since they’re both using the gravitational power. In One Piece Film: Strong World, Shiki uses a Devil Fruit’s power that allows him to remove the gravitational pull of anything he touches at his will.
He could easily make an entire island to float in the air. The same thing with anything he touches.
Quite similarly, Fujitora can make anything to float after being touched by his sword, for instance, the debris in Dressrosa that he made float. With that ability, it’s only logical that many assumed that it’s a gravitational ability, just like Shiki’s.
Before getting into the details of Fujitora’s Devil Fruit, let’s talk a bit about his purpose of being in the Marines. Unlike Akainu who’s willing to sacrifice everything to get the “justice” he craves, Fujitora doesn’t want justice obtained at the expense of innocent civilians.
Two years ago, before the Timeskip to be more precise, Fujitora planned to repeal the Shichibukai system following Crocodile’s defeat. It’s why he’s furious when Doflamingo finally showing his corruptness in Dressrosa. Following a similar event to Crocodile’s, Fujitora eventually visited Vegapunk for his support to repeal the Shichibukai system and change it with something else.
Fujitora ate the Zushi Zushi no Mi, before we describe whether its Paramecia or Logia. “Zushi” means the sound of stomps, so it’s quite different from what Shiki has. With the power of the Devil Fruit, Fujitora can manipulate gravitational force, which means he can also put powerful pressure on his enemies, much like being stomped. This serves as an answer to what he’s done to Zoro and the pirates in Dressrosa.
While Zushi Zushi no Mi has the ability to stomp or give massive, forceful pressure to his enemies, then what about Fujitora making the debris floats away in Dressrosa? It’s one of the unsolved mysteries from Fujitora, ‘cause due to the information from Vivre Card Set 2, he should not be able to use a similar gravitational ability like Shiki’s.
What is clear is that now we already know the different abilities of Shiki and Fujitora. Shiki eats Fuwa Fuwa no Mi's fruit, giving him the ability to control the gravity of the object he touches. Fujitora eats Zushi Zushi no Mi which puts great pressure on the opponent or the object he choose.
Let’s wait for further info regarding Fujitora’s Devil Fruit to find out the reason behind that scene where he elevates things up. What do you guys think? If you find this fascinating, feel free to share it with your pals. And stick around for other One Piece discussions on Dunia Games.
