One Piece Fact: Nami’s Bad Habit as a Thief Still Lingers!

There is an interesting fact on One Piece about Nami, in which her bad behavior as a thief still lingers!

Before joining Luffy, Nami was a master thief who always hunts for treasures, and this was to purchase her homeland that once invaded by Arlong. After joining Luffy, even Nami once attempted to trick him by stealing all treasures and escaped to Arlong.

After Arlong defeated by Luffy, Nami then joined the Straw Hat crew officially. Even so, Nami’s behavior as a thief and a money-oriented person still intact. Every time she sees as treasure, she will pump up to get it.

On One Piece Red: Grand Characters, it is explained that Nami often intimidates or shakedown someone, it’s because she still cannot leave her bad habit as a thief. For example, when she intimidated Zoro at Whiskey Peak, also seen when Nami gripping and wanted to shakedown Zeus (Big Mom’s cloud)
