Garena has opened Free Fire (FF) Advance Server OB29 (July 2021) a few days ago. On this special server, players from all over the world can try the latest Free Fire updates such as characters, pets, and the newest weapon, AC80.

Here are 5 facts about AC80 that you need to know.

1. A New DMR Weapon

In Free Fire, AC80 is included in the Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) category like Woodpecker, SKS, and SVD. Often also called semi-automatic Sniper Rifle (SR), this type of weapon has the power and range between AR and SR.

2. Has 14 Bullets Without Attachment

AC80 has an initial capacity of 14 bullets which can be increased to 30 with the Magazine Lv.3 attachment. This number is higher when compared to Woodpecker (12 bullets), SKS (10 bullets), and SVD (10 bullets).

3. Has a Special Perk

AC80 has a special power that is not found in other Free Fire weapons. When using this weapon, two consecutive shots at the same target will deal additional damage.

Here’s a comparison of AC80’s damage on targets when wearing level 1/2/3/4 vests and without vests:

• No Vest: 1st shot (67 damage), 2nd shot (107 damage)
• Vest level 1: 1st shot (55 damage), 2nd (89 damage)
• Vest level 2: 1st shot (50 damage), 2nd (80 damage)
• Vest level 3: 1st shot (44 damage), 2nd (71 damage)
• Vest level 4: 1st shot (43 damage), 2nd (69 damage)

Here's a comparison of AC80’s damage on targets when wearing a level 1/2/3/4 helmet and without a helmet:

• No Helmet: 1st shot (300 damage), 2nd shot (480 damage)
• Helmet level 1: 1st shot (250 damage), 2nd (400 damage)
• Helmet level 2: 1st shot (232 damage), 2nd (372 damage)
• Helmet level 3: 1st shot (214 damage), 2nd (343 damage)
• Helmet level 4: 1st shot (208 damage), 2nd (333 damage)

4. Very Powerful on Mid to Long Range Combat

Although there are still no complete statistics on this weapon, we can conclude that this weapon is very powerful. If you look at other DMR weapons, AC80 is predicted to have damage above 80 and a rate of power not less than 30.

Plus its special powers, you can win mid-range battles very easily thanks to this weapon.

5. To be Released in Patch OB29

After being successfully tested on Advance Server OB29 this July, AC80 is predicted to be ready to be released in August.

Unfortunately, it is still unclear whether this weapon will be immediately usable after the server maintenance is complete on August 4, 2021, or later.
