Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is indeed quite similar to the figure of Thor in Norse Mythology. Thor is famous for his weapons in battle, and one of them is a hammer called Mjolnir. After Mjolnir was destroyed in the MCU, the next weapon for Thor to use to defeat Thanos is an ax called Stormbreaker. 9. Thor is More than 1000 Years Old
Thor's appearance looks like a young man who is roughly in his 30s, but Thor's appearance is actually not comparable to Thor's real age. Thor is known to be more than 1000 years old and Thor has admitted it in the MCU. Certainly, Loki's age is not much different from Thor, then if Thor is more than 1000 years old then what about the age of his parents?
10. Thor Once Had Fought Against Beta Ray Bill
Thor was once pitted by his father against Beta Ray Bill. Unfortunately, the battle made Thor lose his hammer, Mjolnir. Thor pulled the island because it was considered impractical and had to be moved immediately. Then, the island became the hidden headquarters of the Avengers with the name Hydrobase.
14. Thor Once Had Circled the Earth for 99 Years
Maybe 99 years is not that long for Thor, considering that Thor has already lived for over 1000 years. Why did Thor circle the Earth for 99 years? It all started when the Avengers were no longer around. After Doctor Doom was miraculously revived by the Phoenix Force, he then fought Thor at the same time. The only way to stop this is Thor used Mjolnir to blow Doctor Doom away and then Thor circled the Earth to prevent Doctor Doom from returning.
15. Thor Was Supposedly Having a Red Hair
In the MCU or comic version, Thor is shown with his blonde hair complete with a blonde beard and mustache. Actually, Thor's appearance with his blonde hair is an appearance that has been modified by Marvel, because the real Thor in ancient mythology, according to W.B. Barlett, and also in some of the existing paintings, he has red hair complete with a beard and mustache.
