1. First Introduced in Incredible Hulk 1996
If DC has a group of villains consisting of supervillains, the Suicide Squad, then Marvel is the same. Marvel has a group of villains called Thunderbolts, where the members consist of Baron Zemo, Red Hulk, Abomination, etc, of course, most of them are villains. Thunderbolts first existed and were introduced in the Incredible Hulk comic in November 1996.
2. Created by Baron Zemo
Thunderbolts was born from Baron Zemo's ideas, all of them came from events that happened in the Civil War story. Baron Zemo formed the Thunderbolts team for a reason. An evil plan from him, he wanted to revive the figure of the Masters of Evil, the supervillain group that was once formed by his own father, Baron Heinrich Zemo with other former members.
3. Used As a Cover For Evil Plans
Apart from having the intention to revive the Master of Evil, Zemo purposely formed the Thunderbolts for his other evil plans. By using the identity as Citizen V, Zemo on behalf of the Thunderbolts actually steals the resources in the city. As not to be caught, he often puts himself in a position that is trusted by the public, convincing the authorities that they are heroes. But unfortunately, their intentions and plans have long been revealed.
4. Unstable Leadership
Although Baron Zemo was the originator of the idea for the creation of the Thunderbolts group and was once the leader, unfortunately Zemo's role as leader is often replaced by several characters or members.
