AC Esports' journey in MPL MY Season 17 has been quite bumpy, with the squad, led by coach Adi "Adi" Asyauri, still struggling to find their best form during the early weeks of the season. As the season approaches, AC Esports has made significant improvements and revitalized its squad. Several players have been released, and management has welcomed new arrivals, including Valenz and AeronnShikii.

According to rumors from Dunia Games (DG), AC Esports is rumored to be bringing in former Team Liquid ID jungler Favian "Favian" Bayu Putra. If confirmed, Favian's arrival would see the Favian-AeronnShikii duo, also known as "Duo Larva," return to the competitive MPL scene in MPL Malaysia. Like AeronnShikii, Favian last played in MPL ID Season 15 before being replaced by Joo, now known as Kevinn, in MPL Indonesia. Favian has been busy streaming during this time off.

AC Esports finally announced Favian's addition to the team on Tuesday, April 28, 2026. Favian's addition as Jungler directly replaces Eyymal.
