Favian "Favian" Bayu Putra, a renowned Indonesian jungler who previously played for Team Liquid ID, officially began his career in MPL MY Season 17 by joining AC Esports, along with his teammate, Sultan "AeronnShikii" Muhammad, and former ONIC coach, Adi "Adi" Asyauri. Favian's arrival at AC Esports in MPL MY Season 17 replaced Malaysian jungler Eyymal, aiming to improve the team's performance, which was still struggling to achieve its best results midway through the season.
Favian's arrival in MPL MY Season 17 also demonstrates the jungler's continued competitive spirit. Although he last played in MPL ID as a midlaner, Favian still possesses considerable potential. He, along with AeronnShikii, is known as the "Larva Duo," and is ready to showcase his immense potential this time around in MPL MY Season 17. Favian's debut with AC Esports was a sweet victory. Check out Favian's response to his debut in MPL Malaysia and why he decided to join AC Esports.
Favian's MPL MY Season 17 Debut Leads to Victory, There's a Funny Story Behind His Joining AC Esports
Favian's return to the competitive scene was quite surprising. He had been spending his time as a talent and keeping busy with live streaming. Despite being inactive for a while, Favian still had considerable potential to compete. Unsurprisingly, AC Esports, a new team in the MLBB competitive scene, saw Favian's potential as something worth exploiting. Favian officially returned to competition in MPL MY Season 17 with AC Esports.
In his debut, Favian and AC Esports secured a victory against Team Flash. During his debut, host Rose welcomed Favian back to MPL MY Season 17 after a brief hiatus from MPL Indonesia. When Rose asked Favian if he was happy with his MPL Malaysia debut, Favian admitted he was happy to be back competing. "(I'm) happy, because I won in my first match," Favian told Rose.
When asked again how Favian was adjusting to his new team, he added that he had stopped playing MLBB. However, when Coach Adi invited him to join the team, he immediately accepted. "Actually, I hadn't played MLBB in a long time (in my previous team), right? So, Coach Adi told me, 'Come here (to AC Esports), you can be a champion!,'" Favian added. Favian's response drew laughter from Rose, the host.
Speaking about his experience leading Team Liquid ID to victory in MPL ID Season 14, Favian revealed that he didn't deny that such a thing could happen at AC Esports. However, he emphasized giving his best performance for the team. "Of course, we want to show our best performance here. Because we're no longer play in Indonesia, so here (in MPL Malaysia) we'd like to show our best," he concluded.
It was interesting to see how passionate Favian was in competing in MPL MY Season 17. Were you a fan of Favian when he was still playing in MPL Indonesia?
