Haikyuu!! Dumpster Battle Reached 8 Billion Yen Revenue in Japan!
Haikyuu!! Dumpster Battle has now achieved a new achievement in ticket sales in Japanese cinemas.

Haikyu!! The Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump has now entered its third month since its release in Japanese cinemas. Entering the last week of March, the first anime film from Haikyuu!! The Movie reached 72nd place on Japan's all-time box office charts. And on March 31, 2025, Haikyu!! Dumpster Battle has earned JP¥8.75 billion (approximately Rp919.7 billion) with more than 6.1 million tickets sold for the film about the volleyball match.
In the Japanese box office list of all time, Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle is only slightly different compared to 2013's The Eternal Zero's earnings of JP¥8.76 billion, and above 1999's The Matrix's earnings of JP¥8 billion.
In revenue in the seventh weekend of its broadcast, namely March 29-31 2024, Haikyuu!! Dumpster Battle managed to earn JP¥488 million Yen (approximately Rp51.2 billion) from 333,500 admissions according to Kogyo Tsushinsha. The results were down 8.1 percent from the previous sixth weekend but were enough to keep the film in the same second place it took last weekend at the Japanese Box Office.
Haikyuu!! TV anime series aired for four seasons from 2014 to 2020, with this film depicting the fateful battle between Karasuno and Nekoma. Haikyuu!! the anime series is an adaptation of Haruichi Furudate's 2011 manga of the same name and ended the series in July 2020. Shueisha published the manga's 45th and final volume in November 2020.
Meanwhile, the television anime adaptation was first produced by Production IG and premiered in April 2014. The second season of the anime aired in October 2015, and the third season aired in October 2016. The first half of Haikyu!! To The Top, which is the fourth season of the anime, premiered in January 2020. The second half of the fourth season aired in October 2020.
