The game developer, Valve, has also produced one of the best esports movies titled "Free to Play: The Movie", which was released in 2014. This documentary follows the story of the three professional esports players, Benedict “hyhy” Lim from Singapore; Danil “Dendi” Ishutin from Ukraine; and Clinton “Fear” Loomis from the US.
Free to Play: The Movie follows the journey of those players in DOTA 2, as well as the obstacles they have to go through to become professional athletes, such as their personal concerns and pressure from their families.
