Final Fantasy XIV Mobile, known in China as Final Fantasy XIV: Crystal World, is being developed by Tencent's Lightspeed Studios and is being supervised by Naoki Yoshida, producer and director of Final Fantasy XIV. The game aims to deliver a faithful MMORPG experience to the PC version, including the story, battle system, and non-combat activities such as crafting, fishing, and chocobo racing.

The mobile version of the game will be free to play and will not use gacha mechanics. Monetization will be done through an in-game shop that offers costumes, mounts, and character leveling up.

Pre-registration is currently open on the Chinese App Store for iOS users. However, there is no official information regarding the release date for Android users or other countries. After the launch in China, the game is expected to have a global release, although an exact date has not been announced.

Final Fantasy XIV Mobile will be released in China in June 2025. More information regarding the exact date will be announced in the future.
