How to Start Fishing

First, you need to know that Fishing requires baits. Beginner Fishing Bait is a starting bait that you get and the number is unlimited, as is the Wooden Fishing Rod. If you want other bait, you can buy it in the city of Alberta. Some fish can be caught easily with certain baits. For the guide, you can see it in the Life -> Fishing menu.

Every time you do fishing, it will consume 10 Stamina. To start fishing, you can select the Fishing in the Life menu. Then, select the fishing material you need such as guppy, shrimp, rocks, and others. Then, you can purchase the bait needed by the material so the chance will be increased to 80%.

The bait is quite expensive, so if you don't want to spend Zeny, you can still use the Beginner Fishing Bait even though the chances of getting the fish you want are much smaller. When you are ready, start fishing. Tap the cast button until the indicator is in a blue circle, then you reel it in.

How to Fish Easily

Fishing with the Wooden Fishing Rod can only be done manually so your fingers must be on the screen all the time. If you want to fish while you’re away, then use the Automatic Fishing Rod. There are 2 ways to get this kind of fishing rod. The first is from the Kingdom Pass reward if you have reached a certain level.

The second is to buy it from NPC Xavier with 20 Commemorative Fishing Coins. With Automatic Fishing Rod, you will automatically get items when fishing. Therefore, use this fishing rod if you intend to stay away from the game.

Acquiring Commemorative Fishing Coins

Xavier will not give you Commemorative Fishing Coins for free. There are things you must do first to get them, namely by completing the Daily Missions given by Xavier. The mission is that you only need to take part in a fishing competition that is held every day.

You only need to fish with the special bait that Xavier gave you. With only 10 baits, you have to catch the fish Xavier is looking for. Take it easy, because you are guaranteed to get one of the fish he is looking for. The matter is how big the fish you catch.

You have to compete with other players regarding the fish’s size. If the fish you catch is in the top 50, then Xavier will give you an additional reward. It doesn't matter if your catch doesn't rank because you still get the item from Xavier, which is 10 Commemorative Fishing Coins. Here are the prizes you can get if you enter the top 50:
