As usual, each patch update includes character buffs and nerfs, with adjustments made by Garena to maintain balance in the game. Free Fire Updates April 2026: Shani, Dasha, and Jota Get Buffs, Nero, Koda, and Moco Get Nerfs

As previously mentioned, the Free Fire Updates April 2026 update, including the "Undersea Mystery" patch, will include several adjustments (buffs and nerfs) to the following characters:

1. List of Characters Receiving Buffs

• DASHA (Partying On): After knocking down an enemy, enters highlight mode, increasing their rate of fire by 18% and movement speed by 12%, but then rapidly diminishes. The skill's duration has been increased from 6 to 10 seconds. During highlight mode, if you successfully knock down an enemy consecutively, the countdown will reset, and the rate of fire will increase again by 4% and movement speed by 3%.
• SHANI (Gear Recycle): When using an active skill, grants 30 shield points to yourself and teammates within a 10-meter radius. Shield points will decrease after 10 seconds, after which players can regain the effect. Skill cooldown: 10 seconds.
• JOTA (Sustained Raids): Hitting an enemy with a firearm restores a certain amount of HP, while knocking an enemy down by any means restores 20% of its HP.

2. List of Characters Receiving Nerfs

• KODA (Aurora Vision): Aurora's power duration reduced to 8 seconds. Increases movement speed by 15% and detects enemies behind cover within a 50-meter radius every 1 second. Skill cooldown: 45 seconds. (While parachuting, this skill highlights the enemy's location in the field of view, but the effect is not shared with teammates.)
• MOCO (Enigma's Eye): The skill's duration for marking hit enemies, showing their location within the arena on the minimap, and sharing it with teammates has been reduced to 3 seconds. The duration of marked enemies when hit has been reduced to 4 seconds.
• OTHO (Memory Mist): The skill's duration after knocking down an enemy, marking their teammates within a 20-meter radius of the target and reducing their movement speed by 25% has been reduced to 3 seconds. When knocked down by a nearby enemy, the attacker and teammates will be marked and slowed.
• SHIROU (Damage Delivered): The duration of this skill is 8 seconds. When hit by an enemy attack from 100 meters or less, the attacker will be marked. (Intel is shared with teammates.) Maximum of 4 marks.
• NERO (Cryo Mind): Throws a plushie with 150 HP. The plushie lasts for 12 seconds, ignores obstacles, and can fly up to 50 meters (100 meters in BR mode). The plushie will track the nearest enemy within 8 meters and explode, creating a dreamy space with a radius of 8 meters. Within this area, the user and their enemies cannot place Gloo Walls. Enemies within the area also lose 14 HP per second. The area will disappear after the plushie is destroyed. The destroyer will be marked for 5 seconds. The cooldown for this skill is 45 seconds. (After exiting Nero's dreamy space, players can now start placing Gloo Walls faster with a shorter delay.)
