Frost Diamond is one of the biggest gaming YouTubers in Indonesia. It’s undeniable that he has a lot of entertaining content, especially for viewers who love Minecraft. Unfortunately, Frost Diamond has recently been accused of plagiarism, which riled a lot of Indonesian viewers.

He’s accused to have plagiarized a thumbnail from one of the biggest streamers in Indonesia, Windah Basudara. How come? Here are the details!

The Beginning

Windah Basudara is currently on the rise, especially as a YouTuber/Streamer in Indonesia. He pulled off an amazing achievement by amassing 115 thousand viewers during his live stream of Dragon City! Inevitably, many gaming YouTubers started to emulate him, including Frost Diamond, who might be inspired by Windah Basudara’s creativity.

If you often look at the trending gaming tab on YouTube, you may be familiar with Frost Diamond’s video of him giving away Free Fire diamonds to a kid with a nominal value of IDR 1 million. Yup, on the thumbnail, Frost Diamond featured the kid’s face.

Some of the observant viewers spotted the similarities between the thumbnail with the one from Windah Basudara. In case you don’t know what we’re talking about, Windah Basudara has also created similar content, about one month ago -- before Frost Diamond’s video.

You can see the similarities below:

As you can see, both thumbnails do look similar at a glance. From the kids’ position on the left to the captions (fonts) on the upper left and the bottom. The most striking glaring similarity is the Free Fire character in the background.

With viewers constantly pointing out these similarities, Frost Diamond disabled the comments as well as the likes and dislikes of the video. He also has altered the thumbnail.

Frost Diamond’s Second Time of Being Accused of Plagiarizing

It’s not Frost Diamond’s first time of being accused of plagiarizing another creator’s content. Just two years ago, he was also hit by the same issue, after copying the thumbnails from TheAtlanticCraft. Frost Diamond modified these thumbnails by altering the 2D character into a picture of him.

Shortly after being caught doing this action, Frost Diamond had a brief hiatus from YouTube after receiving a strike. However, he was still able to save his channel and remained active to this day.

Frost Diamond is yet to give an explanation regarding this issue. He also looks like nothing has happened and still appears in his latest videos, while also still giving out his positive attitude to his subscribers.

On the same note, Windah Basudara also seems that he doesn’t want to make a fuss about the issue, given that he once said that he doesn’t want to get involved in a bad situation with other YouTubers.
