There are many stand-up comedians or comics in Indonesia. Some of them still bring their jokes on the stage as well as their YouTube accounts. Aside from being known for their crowd-making punchlines, these following comics are also known for their love of video games. Some of them even stream their playthroughs or being a member of an Esports team. Who are they? Take a look at the following list.

1. Raditya Dika

Who doesn’t know Raditya Dika? The author/stand-up comedian also loves to play games. Bang Radit, his moniker, often uploads gameplay videos from the game that he plays on his YouTube channel. He has played several game genres, from PUBG, Overwatch, Minecraft, to The Sims 4. He doesn’t only do solo runs, bang Radit often collaborates with prominent gaming YouTubers; like Jess No Limit.

2. Tretan Muslim

Tretan Muslim is one of Indonesia’s stand-up comedians who are known for his love of video games, especially the competitive ones. As a member of Majelis Lucu Indonesia (MLI), Tretan also gave his contribution in creating the YouTube channel, MLI Gaming, which was specifically devoted to gaming content. With his hilarious commentaries in the gaming content, Tretan Muslim often gets invited as a caster at several Esports tournament events. 

In fact, Tretan Muslim was once an Esport player in a Mobile Legends tournament, with Capitalist Esport, even that he’s claimed he despises the Moonton’s mobile game.  

3. Coki Pardede

Wherever Tretan Muslim goes, there’s Coki Pardede. Yup, the Indonesian comic has become the true duo with Tretan Muslim at every event. Aside from his hilarity on the segment "Pingin Siaran" on Majelis Lucu, Coki Pardede has proved himself as a great partner to Muslim whenever they cast an Esports tournament. Just like Muslim, Coki was also part of the Capitalist Esport team.

4. Rigen Rakelna

Rigen is a comic who grabbed the first place in the Stand-Up Comedy Indonesia Kompas TV Season 5 (SUCI 5). Despite being the champion, Rigen claimed that he’s career as a comic doesn’t always go as well as he’d expected. Thus, Rigen joined the Majelis Lucu and became part of the Capitalist Esport. Among the comics who participated in the Mobile Legends tournament, Rigen was the best player. Up to the point that he captained the Esports team. 

5. Babe Cabita

Babe Cabita is another comic who loves to play games aside from making his audience laugh. Different from Muslim and Coki, Babe shows his passion for video games with his creatively made content. Babe once made a content where he buys a new PS4 console and how to become a gamer. 

6. Pandu Winoto 

If you know Raditya Dika, surely you’re already familiar with the comic Pandu Winoto. The Stand-Up Comedy Academy Season 1 graduate often makes his appearance on Bang Radit’s videos. Now Pandu has his own YouTube channel. Aside from making creative content, Pandu often uploads videos that show him playing video games, especially PS4 games. 

7. Arafah Rianti

Last but not least, Arafah Rianti is the pretty comic who graduated from the Stand-Up Comedy Academy Season 2 on Indosiar. With her hijabi looks, who would have thought that Arafah was once the caretaker of her brother’s PlayStation rental. Not just taking care of the rental, Arafah also claimed that she also played with the customers at the rental. Besides actively making creative content for her YouTube channel, Arafah often uploads videos of herself playing The Sims 4.
