This game is a JRPG from the Indonesian studio called SEMISOFT. The turn-based strategy fantasy RPG is also available on Steam. You will be taken on a unique adventure in a graphically-stunning world. You will also encounter mythical and magical creatures. The characters in this game are also well-designed and certainly deserve appreciation.

3. Nusakana

Developed by Studio Namaapa, Nusakana is an adventure RPG. In this game, you will be taken on an adventure on an island called Nusakana, where you can perform numerous activities. The open-world JRPG is available on Steam for no more than IDR 80,000. Despite the serene, beautiful scenery on Nusakana, you also have to be wary of the dangers on this island. You can choose from more than 30 characters, and open 40 different endings according to the path you choose along the way.

4. Code Atma

It’s an RPG for Android developed by an Indonesian studio. Code Atma boasts so much local wisdom with so many elements from Indonesian folklore. Made by Agate Games, this game follows the main character, an investigator/seeker who can communicate with the Atmas. Atmas are the spirits that reside within the deepest desires of humans. 

To communicate with the Atma, you need to do some detective work first, such as stopping a suicide attempt, etc. There are numerous Indonesian folklore-inspired Atma, including Kuntilanak, Duyung, etc. You can also upgrade your Atma, evolve them, and unlock more Atma.

5. Epic Conquest

An RPG from the Solo-based studio, Gaco Games, Epic Conquest is arguably one of the best RPGs from Indonesian studios. Plus, it also has a very compelling storyline. You can play a total of 4 characters, 2 of them are ready to be played from the start of the game, whereas the other 2 need to be unlocked by making progress in the story, or, you can also buy them right away. But no worries though, this game isn’t a pay-to-win as you can get the best equipment by crafting them, maxing out your level, etc. The character designs are also quite impressive with anime graphics that make the character look more charming.
