Genshin Impact revealed new characters in version 4.5 through drip marketing. This new character is named Chiori with Geo elements. Chiori is the owner of Chioriya Boutique in Fontaine. But he himself actually comes from Inazuma. Chiori also has the nickname The Thundering Seamstress.

Although in the splash art Chiori is seen using a sword, it has not been confirmed what weapon she will wear after its release. Previously many characters used different weapons with their splash art. Examples include Childe, Raiden Shogun, Yelan, and others.
