HoYoverse has announced the release of Genshin Impact Version 5.1 "Rainbow in the Flames of Destiny" on October 9. The main storyline of this version will take place in the newly released nation of Natlan, and Xilonen will join as a talented blacksmith and a reliable companion in combat and exploration. Additionally, Sumeru will welcome back the Sabzeruz Festival with joy, festivities, and even a birthday surprise for Nahida.

Xilonen, known for her ability to create legendary items such as the Archon Pyro sunglasses, is not only a talented blacksmith but also a nimble and dependable fighter. Unlike typical climbers, this 5-Star Geo Character wielding a sword can easily slide and jump along cliff walls. In battle, Xilonen demonstrates her capabilities as a reliable support by reducing enemy Elemental RES or healing her teammates using her unique battle gear called Sampler.

Initially, her three Samplers will be Geo-element, and Xilonen can activate them directly with her Elemental Skill to reduce the Geo RES of enemies, while also increasing her own Normal Attack and Plunging Attack DMG. When Xilonen is in a party with Hydro, Pyro, Cryo, or Electro Characters, the color and element of the Source Sample will change, allowing her to reduce the corresponding Elemental RES of enemies.

In this situation, the Source Sample can only be activated after Xilonen maximizes her Nightsoul points using Normal Attack. If two Source Samples have different colors, Xilonen can activate the Source Sample faster and change her Elemental Burst from dealing Geo DMG in an area to healing surrounding active Characters. Additionally, she can help her teammates recover some Phlogiston by triggering Nightsoul Transmission.

In the Version 5.1 Event Wish, Xilonen will star in the first half alongside Chiori, followed by Nahida and Hu Tao in the second half. As the number of allies available to form a team increases, Natlan will also introduce a new Boss enemy called the "Secret Source Constructor," a deadly machine waiting for challengers in a long-forgotten cave.
