Comic Frontier 17 or Comifuro 17, which took place on December 16th-17th 2023 at Hall 7-10 ICE BSD, Pagedangan, Tangerang, again became a stage for Indonesian creative creators. Comic Frontier, which was first held in 2012 with 35 creative circles, has grown rapidly and is now able to gather hundreds of creators in one event.

The event was held with the aim of providing a space for free expression in the creative industry without the limitations of societal stigma. Comic Frontier also acts as a driver of Indonesia's creative industry, bringing together independent creators, communities and professionals.

One of the professional creators who participated in Comifuro 17 was Ghaziearsha, Head Creator of Komik Kamvret, a local Indonesian comic that always goes viral on social media. When interviewed by the Dunia Games team at Comifuro 17, Ghaziearsha shared the secret of his comic's success.

"Comics with high engagement are comics that people feel connected to, so we take our personal experiences, write in a funny way, and expect people to laugh," Ghaziearsha said.

Asked about his impression of Comifuro 17, Ghaziearsha shared a positive response, "I'm very happy, because there are many original IPs like Komik Kamvret and other local comic artists. They can introduce their works, Comifuro 17 provides a platform to develop their brand and the works they produce." Ghaziearsha concluded.
