Team RRQ announced Antonius Willson, also known as GLHF Son, as the new General Manager of the Valorant Team RRQ on Monday, January 18, 2026.

The announcement was made officially by Team RRQ through their social media platforms. “Major changes at RRQ Valorant. Jon is no longer the GM. Our goal is to level up—not just be champions, but champions. So we’re taking action. Don’t worry, Jon, it’s nothing personal. Meet the new GM.” RRQ wrote in their Instagram post.

Previously, Team RRQ announced that they had ended their collaboration with Willson as RRQ’s CO-Streamer. The announcement came as a surprise to RRQ Valorant fans, as Willson had long been regarded as the top influencer for RRQ Valorant.

“A chapter ends today as we say goodbye to a legend. @glhfson isn’t just a member; he’s been the heartbeat of this community since 2024.” read Team RRQ’s announcement.

The announcement turned out not to be the end of Son's presence at the forefront of RRQ Valorant's supporters, but rather a new chapter for him to defend RRQ Valorant, while also becoming more involved in the internal affairs of RRQ Valorant itself.

As an aside, Willson is also actively involved as a Caster, Commentator, and Analyst in the Valorant scene in Indonesia. It remains unclear whether Willson will transition to a full-time role as the Valorant GM for RRQ in South Korea or remain in Indonesia as a Caster.
