Aura Fire was one of the teams that didn’t qualify for the playoffs, having to settled 8th of the MPL ID Season 7 Regular Season final standings. In fact, Aura Fire hasn’t qualified for the playoffs for three consecutive seasons since the MPL ID Season 5. Godiva, as one of the guests on Jonathan Liandi’s EMPETALK, finally revealed Aura Fire’s real issue.

According to Godiva, Aura Fire’s main issue has been the chemistry between the players, which he believes to be too strong. So much so, that the players are reluctant to express their frustration and critic each other’s performances.

"We do have the chemistry, but it’s too strong, that we couldn’t say "I didn’t like how you played, you didn’t like how I played". So, it’s like (we’ve) been pushing down our problems, instead of solving them. Too much "tolerance". For me, since the MPL ID Season 5, there have been too many things that we’ve ignored, where we should have been talking about," Godiva shared on EMPETALK.

Ahead of the next season, Godiva admitted that he’s quite excited, especially to start posting Instagram Stories with the word “lucky” once Aura Fire is able to win matches.

"So far, every time I lose, against EVOS, for example, I wrote on my Stories "Sorry". In the next season, I’d love to post Stories saying "Thanks for the luck". That seems exciting, just like what Luminaire has done so far," he added.
