1. Wish Rate

The gacha rates offered in every game are different. There are some games with an SSR rate of 0,3%, 0,42%, or even 0,001% that often called as “myth”. In Genshin Impact, the rate to get 4-stars characters/ weapons is 5,1% (outside guarantee), while to get 5-stars characters/ weapons only 0,6%.

Compared to other gacha games, this rate is a nightmare. Many players already give up because they don’t get the characters they wanted. Even some gamers like Streamers or YouTubers who are willing to spend ten million to get at least ONE character they wanted from the low-rate guarantee.

2. Pity System

In Genshin Impact, there is a Pity System. This is a system that consol players if their gacha is bad. Pity System will give players a guarantee to get a 5-stars character/ weapon every 90 attempts on Wish. So, for those who have spent so much money, still have the chance to get 5-stars.

But, if you get 5-stars before the 90th attempt, then the Pity System will reset. Then, don’t hope too much to get 5-stars from Pity System.

3. Duplicates Don’t Mean Trash

In some gacha games, getting duplicates meaning your gacha is sucks. But it doesn’t apply in Genshin Impact, because duplicate characters are very useful to increase their fighting abilities. Every dupe you get will convert into Stella Fortuna. For example, if you get Keqing duplicates, then those will turn into Keqing’s Stella Fortuna.

Stella Fortuna is useful for the character’s Constellation. With it, the character will receive additional power-up damage (DMG) from the skill or the passive skill. Because of that, be grateful if you get duplicates.

4. Always Do Wish x10

New players need to know that doing Wish x1 all the time is useless because the rate in Genshin Impact is very low, meanwhile, you can get at least 4-stars from Wish x10. Collecting 1600 Primogems also need a long time if there’s no event underway. So, you better not do Wish x1.

5. No Need to Reroll

Not every 5-stars character in Genshin Impact is mandatory for you to get. There are some 4-stars characters who already powerful enough like Fischl, Xiangling, or Barbara. If you want to reroll, suit yourself. If it can make you get 5-stars characters, then it will be very helpful.

But it’s suggested not to reroll because it will waste your time. With a low rate to get 5-stars, it’s not easy to get it. In the end, you will get a 5-stars character from Pity System, so, throw away the attempt to reroll!
