1. Item Build

[Raptor Machete]

Although he’s mainly a Tank, Barats still can get great use of the jungle item, Raptor Machete. Aside from the additional Damage it offers, Raptor Machete also speeds up his farming phase.

[Tough Boots]

There are many options when it comes to boots item, one of which is the Tough Boots. This particular item grants its user a good amount of Magic Defense, and boasts a Passive which reduces the duration of CCs by 30%.

Aside from Tough Boots, Barats can also use other boots, such as Warrior Boots or Rapid Boots. So, adjust it to the situations and conditions that you find yourself in!

[Endless Battle]

To increase his Damage, you may want to pick Endless Battle for the additional HP, Physical Attack, Physical Lifesteal, Mana Regeneration, Cooldown Reduction, and Movement Speed it offers.

Endless Battle also has a Passive which increases his Basic Attacks after using a Skill.

[Blade of the Heptaseas]

Blade of the Heptaseas is a Damage item that suits really well with Raptor Machete and Endless Battle as it has a similar Passive, which also increases his Basic Attack.

In addition to the additional Damage it offers, Blade of the Heptaseas will also increase his HP, Physical Attack, and Physical Penetration.

[Twilight Armor]

After getting enough Damage items, the next thing you want to do is to get a Defense item to make him last longer in team fights. One of the best Defense items for Barats is the Twilight Armor.

Twilight Armor increases his HP, HP regen, max Mana, as well as his Critical Damage Reduction by 30%. On top of that, Twilight Armor also boasts a Passive which limits the first 4 Physical and Magic Damage taken to 800 Damage.

[Immortality]

[2nd Tier Talent: Invasion]

To further increase his Damage, then you may want to pick Invasion for its additional Physical Penetration of 2 points per level.

[3rd Tier Talent: Killing Spree]

3. Battle Spell

[Retribution]

To get the best out of Raptor Machete, then you should pick Retribution for his Battle Spell. Coupled with Raptor Machete, Retribution will be enhanced and can be used to heroes to reduce their Movement Speeds.

4. Combo

Combo: Ultimate > Skill 1 > Basic Attacks > Skill 2. Use his Ultimate to snatch your target, followed by skill 1 and Basic Attacks, and finish off with skill 2.

5. Gameplay

Throw the Enemy to the Back with His Ultimate

Using his Ultimate, Barats can devour a target and spits them to a designated location for a few seconds. Therefore, you should spit them out to the back or to one of your Turrets to finish them off with the help of your allies.

Or, Throw Them on the Wall

When Barats spits out the target to a wall or enemy heroes, they will take additional Damage and stunned for 1s.
