1. Item Build

[Demon Shoes]

First off, Claude should pick an item called Demon Shoes to make him less-wasteful on his mana since Claude is a marksman who relies heavily on his skills to make damage on his enemies. This boot item increases movement speed and some of the mana regeneration which will come in handy for Claude in the early games.

[Raptor Machete]

As a marksman who needs to focus on farming in the early game, Claude has to pick a jungling item called Raptor Machete to speed up his farming process early in the game. This particular item increases physical attack, physical penetration, coupled with the passive that boosts damage on jungle monsters, along with additional exp form jungle creeps.

[Demon Hunter Sword]

Aside from relying on his skills to make damages, Claude should also utilize his basic attack. In order to optimize his basic attacks, Claude has to pick physical attack and attack speed boosts, such as Demon Hunter Sword. This item provides additional physical attack and attack speed.

In addition to that, this item also has a passive that gives additional damage based on the amount of enemy’s HP. Thanks to this passive, Claude would be able to drain the enemy’s tank’s HP swiftly.

[Golden Staff]

Despite the fact that he relies on basic attacks and skills to attack, that doesn’t necessarily mean that Claude needs to increase his critical rate. Since he doesn’t desperately need high critical points, he can use an item called Golden Staff to give him a significant boost on his attack speed.

Golden Staff boasts a passive that will amplify the effects from his basic attack, such as lifesteal and other effects by three times after accumulating two stacks of them. Also, this item can convert critical into attack speed.

[Queen’s Wings]

For the next item, you may want to pick a defense item called Queen’s Wings to increase his max HP and a useful amount of physical attack. What’s nice from Queen’s Wings is its passive effect that increases physical lifesteal and reduces damage taken when Claude’s HP is below 40 percent.

[Wind of Nature]

Lastly, Claude can make great use of a physical item called Wind of Nature to provide additional physical attack, attack speed, and lifesteal. Not only that, but Wind of Nature also boasts an active skill that allows Claude immune to all physical damage for 2s upon activation. Therefore, he can lead on the frontline and executes his ultimate safely with this item.

2. Emblem

For emblem selection, Claude may pick the marksman emblem set since it increases various stats that will come in handy for him, such as a physical attack, lifesteal, attack speed, and physical penetration. So, what are the talents that he needs to pick in this emblem? Take a look down below!

[Talent Level 1: Bravery]

Skill 2 > Basic attack > Skill 1 > Ultimate > Skill 1 > Basic attack > Skill 2. First off, Claude has to activate skill 2 to blitz forward, then use skill 1 to steal the target’s attack speed and use his ultimate, and end it with skill 2 to step back.

5. Gameplay

Always Activate Skill 1

As we know, Claude’s skill 1 allows him to steal his target’s attack speed. Therefore, whenever you go farming or on the lane, it’d best for you to always utilize skill 1 to gain massive attack speed.

Don’t Spam Skill 2

When activating skill 2, Claude can switch his place upon reactivating it, he can even go forward and back just by using the skill. However, you should not spam skill 2 since basically, Claude is a frail marksman with low HP and defense.
