1. Item Build

[Ardent Censer]

As for Lulu’s first item, you may want to get her the Ardent Censer. This item is one of the core items for most Support-Mage as it benefits the Champion and allies. As for the details, Ardent Censer grants 10-30% bonus Attack Speed and 16-30 Magic Damage for your Basic Attack (based on level) for 6 seconds -- when you heal or shield your ally (excluding yourself).

For your stats, Ardent Censer provides 250 max HP, 60 Ability Power, and 10% cooldown reduction.

[Ionian Boots of Lucidity]

For her boots, you can get the Ionian Boots of Lucidity for its 10% cooldown reduction for Lulu. The cooldown reduction is very useful for Support Champions, especially the likes of Lulu, who has a lot of spam-able skills.

[Protector's Vow]

The next item you want to get for Lulu is the Protector's Vow. Since Lulu is a Support, she’s going to need a Support item to help her protect the Carry.

You may also want to pick the Adaptive Helm to give Lulu some magic resistance. It’s a precautionary item to help her survives from the enemy’s burst damage, like Malphite (AP); Fizz; or Ahri. With Adaptive Helm, Lulu will get 300 HP, 60 magic resist, and 100% HP regen. The Passive of Adaptive Helm reduces all subsequent magic damage by 15% for 4s. Allowing her to sustain the damage taken -- perfect for a late-game item.

[Upgrade Ionian Boots of Lucidity: Locket Enchant]

For her boots upgrade, you can pick the Locket Enchant. Its effect shields Lulu and nearby allies from 140-420 damage (based on level) for 2.5s with 60s cooldown.

[Summon Aery]

For her Keystone, you can pick Summon Aery. This rune will come in handy for you to have better coordination with the ADC. It grants a 20-120 bonus shield (based on level) (+40% of bonus Attack Damage) (+20% of Ability Power) for 2 seconds when shielding healing, or using other buffs.

[Weakness]

For her second rune, you can get Weakness. So why this rune? Because Lulu has a lot of CCs with her skills, whether it’s slow or stun. Thus, the additional damage Weakness offers against slowed or stunned targets will complement well with Lulu.

[Loyalty]
