Tristana is known as a deadly Marksman who can bounce through the battlefield. Aside from that, she also has high burst damage with her huge cannon. Given her recent arrival in Wild Rift, on this occasion, Dunia Games would like to give you the best build for Tristana in Wild Rift, so that you can get a better grasp of this Champion.
Without further ado? Let’s get into it.
1. Item Build
[Infinity Edge]
Since Attack Speed, Damage, and Critical Strike are her main focus, Infinity Edge is the perfect core item for Tristana. It will make her even more ferocious against the enemy Fighter and Tank.
[Gluttonous Graves]
As for her boots, Tristana requires a good amount of lifesteal to give her sustain while being attacked by the enemy Fighter or Assassin. The lifesteal also helps Tristana to survive longer during the lane phase and team fights.
[Statikk Shiv]
When it comes to Attack Speed and Critical Strike, you can pick Statikk Shiv. This item also comes in handy to clear the minion wave due to the magic damage it offers.
In addition to that, it also increases his movement speed by 5%. It’s very useful for Tristana to move faster -- either for chasing down an enemy or getting away from enemies.
[Rapid Firecannon]
Speaking of attack speed, Rapid Firecannon is the next item for you to turn Tristana into a killing machine -- even against Tanks. This item grants her bonus range, making it more difficult to take her down in team fights.
[Bloodthirster]
Bloodthirster is arguably the most important item for any Marksman who relies on their attack speed. Its Passive offers a 15% physical vamp, it will be hard to take Tristana down. Not to mention that Bloodthirster also offers an additional shield if the lifesteal overheals you.
[Guardian Angel]
For her last item, you might want to get Tristana Guardian Angel. Why? Because chances are, at this point, the enemy Assassin will be able to finish you off quickly in the late game. To overcome this, you can get Guardian Angel (to resurrect you upon death).
[Upgrade Gluttonous Greaves: Stasis Enchant]
Since she’s a Marksman, Tristana is very squishy, especially if she’s targeted by Assassins like Master Yi or Zed. Therefore, you can upgrade your Ionian Boots of Lucidity to Stasis Enchant. It allows you to become invulnerable for 2.5s.
2. Runes
[Fleet Footwork]
For her Keystone, it’s highly advised to pick Fleet Footwork to make Tristana sustain longer during the laning phase, allowing her to recover a good amount of health.
[Triumph]
For her Domination rune, you can pick Triumph for its 10% additional HP after getting a Champion takedown. It also grants her 3% increased damage to enemies with below 35% HP.
[Spirit Walker]
As for her Resolve, you may want to get Spirit Walker to gain 50 max HP and 20% slow resistance.
[Sweet Tooth]
Sweet Tooth is an Inspiration rune that works exceptionally well for Tristana as she will gain 20 gold for each fruit she takes. Thus, Tristana can heal while also still earning gold.
3. Spells
[Flash]
Flash is a Spell that works well for any Champion. Almost every Champion uses this Spell to chase down enemies or escaping from them. However, this cooldown for Spell is quite long, 150s.
[Heal]
Heal is a Spell that restores the user 80-360 HP (based on level) as well as a 30% bonus movement speed for 1s. It also heals nearby allies.
Therefore, Heal is usually taken by one player in the team, which is the Marksman or AD Carry.
4. Combo
You need to take risks to pull off Tristana’s combo as you need to be confident. It also requires a good calculation to get the best out of her damage output. Here’s the combo:
Explosive Charge (3) → Rocket Jump (2) (jump to the target to gain a stack) → 2x basic attack (two stacks) → Buster Shot (U) (gain 4 stacks and Explosive Charge will be triggered).
5. Gameplay
- Since Rocket Jump (2) grants you stacks for Explosive Charge (3), you can use this skill to kill your target if they’re outside of the range of your basic attack. Once they’re killed, you can use your Rocket Jump (2) again to escape;
- You can use the knockback effect from Buster Shot (U) to cancel out the enemy’s Smite when contesting for Baron or Drakes;
- If you’re being pushed during the laning phase, and you have an ally who’s ready for a gank, you can cast Rocket Jump (2) to get behind the enemy, followed by Buster Shot (U) to knock them back to your Turret.
