Haikyuu!! Final Movie will be a two-part film and will tell the final story of the anime series Haikyuu!! This will be screened in Japanese cinemas on February 16, 2024. Before showing the film tomorrow, this time Haikyuu!! Final published a new trailer to welcome the upcoming release of the film in Japan as well as being the closing trailer before the film is shown. Haikyuu!! Final Movie, also known as Haikyuu!! The Movie: Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump will be divided into two parts that will pick up the final story of the popular volleyball sports anime Haikyuu!!. This film will adapt the manga story chapter 291 which will explore the volleyball match between the Karasuno and Nekoma teams in the third round of the national level volleyball match.

Haikyuu!! is an original story from the manga by Haruichi Furudate which was serialized in 2012-2020 in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump manga magazine. Susumu Mitsunaka wrote and directed Haikyu!! Final at  Production IG animation studio, while Takahiro Kishida provided character designs and Takahiro Chiba served as chief animation director. The first film of the total two-part story will finally be screened with the subtitle "Gomisuteba no Kessen" scheduled to be released in Japan on February 16, 2024.

Haikyuu!! is a volleyball anime that tells the story of Hinata Shoyo's love for this sport. Despite his small figure, Hinata was inspired by a professional volleyball player to become the best volleyball player like his idol. Hinata then joined the volleyball team at his middle school and then lost in their first tournament, that's where he met Kageyama. Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama one day. In high school, Hinata met Kageyama again by joining the same volleyball team.
