Genshin Impact 4.0 has finally been released, along with the presence of the Fontaine region, which has been long awaited by players. The presence of Fontaine as the fifth region added to Genshin Impact is the region of the Hydro element. 1. Interacts with Statues of the Seven in Fontaine

Unlocking the Statues of Seven in Fontaine will help in many ways. You will get access to easily change the Traveler to the Hydro element so you can teleport anywhere on Fontaine. This will make it easier for you to explore and search in completing a mission or finding the item you want.

You might try it by opening every nearby archon statue you find every time you enter an unexplored map area. If you are confused, don't worry, because when you point at Archon Quest, the first thing you will do is open one of the seven statues in Fontaine.

2. Cleat Fontaine Archon Quest (Chapter IV)

After you enter Fontaine, the very first thing you have to do is take the Archon Quest. This is the most important story content in Genshin Impact as a condition for all the next content that you will do. You will be carried away in stories with Travelers who have just arrived in Fontaine. You will meet Lyney and Lynette at the beginning of the story which will lead you to meet the Hydro Archon, Furina. You have to complete this quest and focus on enjoying the storyline.

3. Open the Reputation System and Daily Commissions

Every time you move to a new region in Genshin Impact, you will be introduced to a new reputation system and daily commissions in the Adventurer's Guild. Some of the conditions that you can follow to unlock Fontaine's reputation include completing Archon Quest Chapter IV and completing the "Steambird Interview" quest. 4. Know the Available Resource Items

Like the four previous regions, Fontaine comes with new local special collectibles that players can collect while exploring the arena. It's very important for you to recognize every unique collection of materials that you will need in the future. New characters and weapons in Fontaine require ingredients specific to their own region, so don't be lazy to farm for the sake of building your character, OK?

5. Get Used to New Mechanisms

Fontaine also introduces a new mechanic to the game, namely the Arkhe system which has two semi-elements, Pneuma and Ousia. Even though they are not completely elements like Hydro, Pyro, Anemo, Electro, Geo, Cryo, and Dendro, these two mechanisms can be used and are related to each other. For example, Lynney with the Pyro element can use Pneuma, and Lynette with the Anemo element has access to Ousia.

This Arkhe mechanic also has a unique reaction to certain enemies in Fontaine, and it can be used to solve certain puzzles while you are exploring Fontaine. Much like Dendrograna in Sumeru and Electrograna in Inazuma, this is an exploration mechanic that will give players temporary control over these elements.
