Hopes for a Dino Crisis Remake Fading, Capcom Focuses More on Monster Hunter
It seems that Capcom is not yet interested in working on a remake version of Dino Crisis and is more focused on Monster Hunter.

Loyal fans of Dino Crisis seem to have to accept the bitter reality that the possibility that Capcom will remake this legendary game is getting smaller. Shinji Mikami, the creator behind Resident Evil and Dino Crisis, recently gave his thoughts to Eurogamer, and this news will probably disappoint many fans.
Mikami revealed that Capcom's chances of reviving Dino Crisis in the form of a remake are very small, almost non-existent. The main reason behind this is Capcom's current focus on the Monster Hunter franchise. According to Mikami, the main element offered by Dino Crisis, namely shooting with a dinosaur background, has been well represented by Monster Hunter. Therefore, he believes that Capcom does not have a strong enough reason to return to developing Dino Crisis.
However, Mikami cannot hide his admiration for the huge fan enthusiasm for Dino Crisis. Even though this game hasn't had an update for a long time, fans' desire to see this game return is still high.
When asked about the comparison between Dino Crisis and Capcom's new game, Exoprimal, Mikami emphasized that the two games have very different concepts. Even though Exoprimal also features dinosaurs, Mikami emphasized that the experiences offered by these two games cannot be compared.
As such, fans of Dino Crisis should be prepared for the fact that Capcom would apparently prefer to build on the success of Monster Hunter rather than remake Dino Crisis. However, in a gaming world full of surprises, nothing can be one hundred percent certain.
