Naturally, before the M7 World Championship kicks off, a drawing will be held to determine who will compete in the opening matches, from the Wild Card Stage to the Swiss Stage. Many exciting matches await, and the two Indonesian representatives, ONIC and Alter Ego Esports, are ready to give their best.

M7 World Championship Wild Card & Swiss Stage Drawing Results

The M7 World Championship drawing took place in Jakarta, Indonesia, specifically at TOPGOLF, Fatmawati, South Jakarta. Various parties, including Moonton and sponsor representatives, were also present. Representing PBESI, Mr. Riezha Haryo Wiguna from the Competition Department delivered remarks.

In his remarks, Riezha Haryo Wiguna stated, "As a country with the fastest-growing esports scene, we want to ensure that athletes, organizations, and communities thrive within a healthy ecosystem built on discipline and professionalism. PBESI continues its efforts to strengthen this foundation through national regulations, athlete development programs, digital transformation, and global collaboration," said Riezha Haryo Wiguna.

"Today marks an achievement for all of us. The M-Series has become one of the most influential mobile esports tournaments in the world, and Indonesia has once again had the opportunity to host it," he said. "Moonton Indonesia and Global teams, your commitment to building a sustainable esports ecosystem in Indonesia deserves the highest recognition," added Riezha Haryo Wiguna.

"Together with PBESI, Moonton has successfully paved the way for young talent, strengthened the local community, and brought global attention to our country. M7 is more than just a competition. The tagline "Let's the World See Us" celebrates the legacy, community, and future of the esports industry. Indonesian fans are known worldwide as some of the most passionate, making every match feel like a final. This passion is what makes this tournament an unforgettable experience."

"PBESI also remains committed to making esports a positive place for growth, developing new athletes, providing economic opportunities, and maintaining the integrity of competition at every level. We must also continue to support the Indonesian national team at the SEA Games," he explained. Finally, Riezha Haryo Wiguna expressed his hope that the M7 World Championship will bring new champions and tell new stories, especially for Indonesia.

"Hopefully, the M7 World Championship can find new champions, create new stories, and demonstrate that Indonesia is capable of continuing its role as the home of high-quality esports," he concluded.

Following the welcoming remarks from PBESI, the drawing process continued with Mr. Alfian, representing Realme Indonesia, and Ms. Nathalia Nugrahani, representing VISA, as Head of Marketing for VISA - Indonesia. The following are the results of the M7 World Championship Wild Card Group drawing:

The Swiss Stage - M7 draw then continued, featuring two legendary players: former M1 World Championship champions Ihsan Besari "Luminaire" Kusudana and Muhammad "Wannn" Ridwan. The Swiss Stage draw also featured Riezha Haryo Wiguna, representing PBESI, along with the two legendary Indonesian MLBB players.

As seen from the draw results above, two exciting matches are in store for the Swiss Stage. The Philippine team, AURORA, will face Team Liquid PH in their opening match. Likewise, the Selangor Red Giants will face CG Esports in their opening match of the Swiss Stage. Meanwhile, the two Indonesian representatives, Alter Ego Esports, will face AURORA Turkiye, and ONIC will face a Wild Card team.
