EWC FF 2025 Knockout Stage Results: RRQ, EVOS, and Vitality Advance to the Grand Final, ONIC Eliminated!
The Free Fire Esports World Cup 2025, or EWC FF 2025, has been underway since Wednesday, July 16, 2025. A total of 18 of the best Free Fire teams from around the world are divided into three groups and will compete in three days of Knockout rounds. The final day falls on Friday, July 18, 2025, with two Indonesian teams still in contention.
Previously, two Indonesian teams, EVOS and Team Vitality, secured their places in the Grand Final. Consequently, two other teams, RRQ and ONIC, from Group C, still need to maximize their chances on the final day to advance. Previously, on Thursday, July 17, 2025, the performance of both teams was quite worrying.
OnIC in particular, stranded in 16th place on the first day of EWC FF 2025. This is not to be underestimated; if they are careless, their chances of advancing to the Grand Final are slim, if not impossible. Meanwhile, RRQ, while not as strong, still has a great chance to perform optimally on the deciding day.
On the final day of the Knockout stage, RRQ opened the day with a BOOYAH in Game 1, Bermuda. Other teams also rallied, starting with All Gamers (AG AL) getting a BOOYAH in Game 2, Purgatory. Next, two teams from the LATAM region, LOS, got a BOOYAH in Game 3, Kalahari, and PAIN Gaming, got a BOOYAH in Game 4, Alpine.
After four games, RRQ had begun to gain momentum and improve their position, but ONIC continued to suffer. In the final two games, Thai teams Buriram United Esports and Team Falcons closed the day with BOOYAH wins in game 5 (Nexterra) and game 6 (Solara), respectively.
Finally, the six teams that did not qualify for the EWC FF 2025 Grand Finals were revealed: Vision System in 13th place, ONIC in 14th place, Hotshot Esports in 15th place, Virtus Pro in 16th place, ALFA34 in 17th place, and Red Hawks in 18th place. This marked the elimination of one of Indonesia's representatives.
